A volte sono errori grossolani dovuti a sottovalutazione dei diversi contesti culturali, linguistici, politici e religiosi dei paesi in cui una marca desidera operare. Fantasiosa approssimazione, se non addirittura sprovvedutezza e ignoranza producono effetti di mercato imprevisti, sicuramente devastanti.&lt;br /&gt;Qui un &lt;a href="http://www.i18nguy.com/translations.html"&gt;gustoso elenco degli errori-orrori di marketing&lt;/a&gt; più famosi (non tutti veri forse).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A proposito di nomi azzeccati. La rock band americana qui sopra, dall'impeccapile stile psichedelico, si chiama &lt;a href="http://www.blackmerda.com/home.html"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Black Merda!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;. Diavolo! Lo può fare chiunque. Però qualche linea guida e lista di controllo possono aiutare.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Queste sono quelle che funzionano per me.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;1. Credi, credilo veramente, che ogni parola che scrivi sarà letta, così scriverai meglio. E sarai letto ancora di più. Non dare lezioni. Ricorda quanto erano noiose le lezioni a scuola.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;2. Un titolo che ha bisogno di un sotto-titolo di solito necessita di altro lavoro.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;3. Non cadere nella trappola di scrivere per un "profilo demografico". Se così, non scrivere affatto. Piuttosto visualizza la persona che vuoi coinvolgere, e falla sedere di fronte a te. Ora parlale usando la penna, la matita, la macchina da scrivere, il mac o quel che vuoi.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;4. Ogni prodotto ha la sua verità, la sua zona di credibilità. Superala e il tuo lettore se ne accorgerà. Eccome se ne accorgerà.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;5. Non contare sul tuo art director per salvarti il culo. Un'idea forte, presentata in modo semplice, è molto più efficace di un'idea debole presentata in modo roboante.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;6. Non esiste una cosa come un testo lungo. Esiste il testo troppo lungo. Anche solo due parole son di troppo se non sono quelle giuste.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;7. Se ti ritrovi a sviluppare una tua propria filosofia creativa, la tua crescita è bloccata. Sei in stagnazione.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;8. Scrivi frasi brevi con parole brevi e pochi aggettivi. Così son più scorrevoli. Più interessanti e credibili.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;9. Mai scrivere un annuncio che un concorrente potrebbe firmare.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;10. Quando arrivi al punto che sei soddisfatto ma proprio soddisfatto del tuo testo, bene... taglialo di un terzo.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;11. Fai il test "imbarazzo". Prendi il tuo annuncio e leggilo davanti ai tuoi familiari. Sei ancora orgoglioso d'averlo scritto?&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;12. Ascolta in profondità quando scrivi. Stai sentendo il lettore che dice "Sì! Sì! Questo è quello che voglio sentire. Ancora! Ancora!"&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;13. Scrivi per te stesso. Cari "non convenzionali" andate a leggere cosa scrivevano H. Luck Gossage e Bill Bernbach negli anni '50 e '60 così, almeno, la smettete di credervi primi e assoluti depositari del presunto nuovo Verbo "non convenzionale". Non l'avete inventato voi.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. Non c'è più bisogno dei creativi pubblicitari perché le idee possono venire a tutti. Bah. Forse un'idea può venire a chiunque. Ma deve essere buona e ci vuole molto molto molto mestiere (oggi più che mai) per metterla a frutto.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3. La pubblicità non funziona più perché è monodirezionale. Oggi ciò che vale e serve è la capacità di costuire relazioni tra brand e persone. Ma secondo voi una buona pubblicità non può essere l'inizio di una relazione basata sulla fiducia, sullo scambio, sulle emozioni?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. Ambient, virale, guerrilla et similia... quante di queste azioni è "campagnabile", "replicabile" su scala quantitativamente significativa, economicamente accettabile per un'azienda? Quanti di questi gesti creativi la gente ricorda? Quanti hanno avuto efficacia? Altri solo 15. Media: 17. Non promettere di più.&lt;br /&gt;4. Di' pane al pane e vino al vino. Chiama sospensione la sospensione. E non chiamarla "ammortizzatore orbitale".&lt;br /&gt;5. Parla al tuo lettore. Non urlare. Lui ti ascolta. Specialmente se hai cose sensate da raccontargli.&lt;br /&gt;6. Matita appuntita? Qualcuno bussa alla porta ed interrompe i suoi esercizi quotidiani, entra un &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;cameriere, e come da richiesta gli presenta, mostrandoglielo, il pranzo perfetto: verdure fresche al &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;vapore e tonno Consorcio.   &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;A chiudere lo spot un’ammiccante compagna che seduta su una sedia high tech invita il &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;protagonista a una sessione di allenamento del tutto speciale pronunciando ironicamente la &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;domanda “Consorciamo”?  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Un palese messaggio al benessere inteso come cura del corpo e della propria alimentazione, in &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;una cornice di assoluta eleganza se pur nella modernità degli ambienti. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Il risultato è uno spot ricercato, fluido, in cui tutto è trattato con grande gusto estetico in ogni &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;dettaglio: cast, luci, colori, styling.
